Jeremy Fishel, PhD is a co-founder and the Chief Technology Officer at SynTouch, developers of bio-inspired tactile sensors and their applications. Dr. Fishel received his PhD from the Biomedical Engineering department at USC (’12) for his work on fluid-based tactile vibration sensing and the development of Bayesian
exploration. He has been recognized by Popular Mechanics’ Breakthrough Awards for SynTouch’s technology and accepted as a delegate of the Academy of Achievement in 2014 under the personal recommendation of General David Petraeus. Dr. Fishel’s professional interests are in pioneering applications robotic dexterity and perception using the sense of touch.
