Dr. Rome Jutabha was appointed as Advisor to the Ministry of Public Health, Department of Health Service Support, Kingdom of Thailand with duties to give advice and recommendations, support their telemedicine efforts and develop cooperation on health services under an MOU between the Department of Health Service Support and University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Dr. Jutabha is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy in 1981 and the Honors Program in Medical Education at Northwestern University in 1983. He received his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois in 1987. He completed his gastroenterology fellowship training at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1990, and then joined the GI faculty at the Division of Digestive Diseases, UCLA School of Medicine.
