Despite the wealth of avenues facilitating interdisciplinary work, there exists a great separation between engineering and medicine. This hinders the development of clinically informed medical devices and solutions that can address pressing healthcare challenges. At MIT, we've developed a robust design thinking methodology to help local communities, small startups, large companies, and even governments overcome traditional silos between professions with a systematic thought process to conceptualize and implement biomedical innovations to solve healthcare problems.
