Additive Manufacturing is already a reality and the usage of this technology enables new ways to innovate in new products and include additional value through different areas. Multi Jet Fusion achieves a cost reduction for medium production volumes, where it could substitute CNC machined parts, injection molding parts, and sheet metal. As additional advantage, it enables the personalization of the manufacturing aids without any additional impact in production cost. The geometries, designs, and textures that are able to be produced by MJF are opening the opportunity to get parts more efficient and generate higher production yields. During this session we will cover which are the advantages achieved by manufacturing end of arm tooling with MJF. We’ll showcase examples of different companies in different industries, such as automotive, that are already onboard and producing their end of arm effectors with additive manufacturing.
