Since 2016, Ronnie Wilson has led GKN Aerospace North America’s major technology development programs, including Large Scale Titanium Additive Manufacturing and Friction Stir Welding of Aluminum Lithium Alloys.
Ronnie is currently located at Oak Ridge National Lab in Knoxville, Tenn. along with GKN’s North America technology team. Previously, he served as GKN’s Senior Integration Engineer supporting the 737Max & 777X Lip Skin Programs in Orangeburg, SC. Before joining GKN Aerospace in 2015, Ronnie was the 737Max Inlet Design Lead for Boeing’s Propulsion South Carolina Organization. He started his career with The Boeing Company in 2007 and served in a variety of roles including Structures Design and Propulsion Optimization.
Ronnie earned both a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering and Master of Science in Technical Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
